For longer trips we recommend the incorporation of three more rigs to your quiver of rods and reels. These rigs all have Berkley Trilene’s Hollow Braid Spectra backing with mono filament top shots. Roller guides, gimbals and reel seats with clamps are recommended for your rods. When you fish with heavy gear, large forces are exerted. You need to practice with your rod and reel in conjunction with your harness in the calm atmosphere of your garage, rather than when 100 pound plus fish are rolling through the corner.
